Dr. Vicki Sharma is a board-certified general surgeon providing advanced surgical care to patients throughout Muskegon and West Michigan. She specializes in breast surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, colorectal procedures, hernia repair, and a broad range of general surgical services. Dr. Sharma is committed to delivering exceptional surgical outcomes while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Known for her collaborative approach and dedication to innovation, Dr. Sharma combines advanced surgical techniques with a strong focus on patient education and support. Education & Training

Dr. Sharma completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas–Fayetteville before earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

In addition to her medical degree, she earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Management and a Master’s degree in Clinical Anatomy, providing a unique blend of clinical expertise and healthcare leadership.

She completed her five-year General Surgery Residency at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Michigan, where she received extensive training in complex surgical procedures, minimally invasive techniques, and patient-centered surgical care.

Dr. Sharma specializes in robotic-assisted surgery, breast surgery, colorectal surgery, and hernia repair. As the physician leader of the Da Vinci Robotics Program at Trinity Health Muskegon, she has helped introduce advanced robotic surgical techniques that offer patients smaller incisions, less pain, faster recovery times, and improved surgical precision.

She collaborates closely with radiologists, oncologists, pathologists, nurse navigators, and care coordinators to ensure patients receive coordinated, personalized treatment throughout every stage of their care journey.
