Emergent Treatment for Ischemic Bowel
In September of 2017, I was diagnosed with a mesenteric blood clot. At the time, I had less than 10% blood flow, and was in danger of losing my life. Dr. Alterman was called in to explain the situation, and then to actually perform the procedure that broke up the clot. He also installed a stent to help with blood flow. I now have nearly 100% blood flow, and I owe this to Dr. Alterman. I am extremely appreciative for what he has done for me. – Steve, 63
